Heating & Cooling
in Franklin, Indiana

Yes — this is some of the most rewarding work we do. Homes near downtown Franklin and Franklin College often have furnaces tucked into small basement closets with original ductwork runs. We measure the space carefully, select a properly sized Bryant® unit that fits the footprint, and take care to preserve the home’s character during installation. We never hack into structural elements to make equipment fit.

Many homes in Prairie Crossing and Hunters Run were built with lower-efficiency builder equipment that is now reaching the end of its service life. If your system is 10–15 years old, a properly sized high-efficiency Bryant® replacement will typically cut energy bills by 20–40% and qualify for manufacturer rebates. We will run the payback numbers with you so you can see the real return.

Yes — we have installed heat pumps and hybrid dual-fuel systems throughout Franklin. A modern heat pump can heat efficiently even in Indiana winters, and it doubles as your air conditioner. For homes with existing gas service, a dual-fuel setup automatically switches between the heat pump and gas furnace based on outdoor temperature for the lowest operating cost in any season.

If you notice uneven temperatures between rooms, dusty air from your vents, or utility bills that seem high for your home’s size, leaky ductwork is a likely culprit. We measure static pressure and inspect the duct runs — if we find leaks or undersized sections, sealing them before or alongside a new equipment installation ensures the system delivers its rated efficiency and comfort.

Bryant® equipment includes a 10-year parts warranty when properly registered, and HRS backs every Franklin installation with a 1-year labor warranty. Select furnaces also carry a lifetime heat exchanger warranty. We handle the warranty registration for you and keep it on file so it is there if you ever need it.
