Indoor Air Quality

Ultraviolet (UV) Lights

Clean air at the microbial level.

UV-C lights installed inside your ductwork or air handler neutralize mold, bacteria, and viruses at the microscopic level — before they can circulate through your home. It's the same technology hospitals use to sterilize air and surfaces, scaled for residential HVAC. If someone in your home suffers from allergies, asthma, or frequent illness, UV lights are one of the most effective indoor air quality upgrades you can make.

Why you'll love it

The benefits

Kills germs at the source

UV-C light destroys the DNA of mold spores, bacteria, and viruses that pass through your ductwork, preventing them from circulating into your living spaces.

Prevents mold on coils

A UV light installed near the evaporator coil keeps it sterilized continuously, preventing the mold growth that thrives on damp coil surfaces during cooling season.

Reduces odors

By neutralizing the microorganisms that cause musty and stale odors, UV lights help your home smell cleaner — without air fresheners or masking sprays.

Whole-home, silent protection

Installed in your ductwork, UV lights treat every cubic foot of air that passes through your system — silently, automatically, and with zero maintenance beyond an annual bulb change.

Signs & signals

Is it right for you?

If any of these sound familiar, it may be time for a closer look.

  • Someone in your home has allergies, asthma, or a weakened immune system
  • You've had mold issues in your ductwork or on your evaporator coil
  • Your home has a persistent musty or stale smell
  • Your family catches colds or respiratory infections frequently
  • You want the highest level of air purification beyond standard filtration

How it works

1

UV-C light is installed in your ductwork

We mount a UV-C lamp inside your air handler or ductwork, positioned where it can treat the maximum volume of moving air and sterilize the evaporator coil.

2

Air passes through the UV field

Each time your blower runs, air circulates past the UV-C lamp. The high-energy light penetrates and damages the DNA of microorganisms in the air stream.

3

The coil stays sterilized

A coil-facing UV lamp continuously bathes the evaporator coil in germicidal light, preventing the mold and biofilm that naturally form on damp cooling coils.

4

Cleaner air circulates through your home

Treated air — with significantly reduced levels of mold, bacteria, and viruses — flows through your ducts and into every room your system serves.
